| 2 | I already have a mobile contract, can I still join? Yes, as long as you have seen through the duration of your current provider's 12 month contract. Pay As You Go phones can be taken over straight away, but will need "unlocking" from your current network.

| 4 | How do I connect and how long does it take? You keep your existing handset and we simply send you a new SIM card in the post. Connecting takes 2 days for new numbers & 10 working days for people keeping old numbers.

| 5 | Can Green Mobile provide me with a new handset? Green Mobile do not supply new handsets, just cheap airtime packages. We do have some ex-rental handsets at £25 (please call us) otherwise you will need to buy a “SIM free” handset.

| 7 | My handset is locked, is there anything I can do? Yes, you can either use an online unlocking website such as www.modifications.net or contact your current service provider to unlock your handset.

| 8 | What is Green Mobile? Green Mobile in partnership with the Friends of the Earth and EIA has created the UK’s first environmentally friendly mobile phone service. By joining Green Mobile you agree to hold on to your existing handset for just one more year and in return we’ll donate £15 to EIA or Friends of the Earth. You’ll help the environment and save money.

| 9 | How do I switch to Green Mobile and keep my number? If your 12 or 18 month contract with your current supplier is over, then you’ll need to call and ask for your PAC number. This ensures that you can keep your old number. Just call us back with the number and we can switch you over.

| 12 | How do I help the environment? Firstly by keeping your phone, you are not contributing to the 100 million handsets thrown away in European each year (of which 85% of mobile phones are not recycled – they go into landfills).
Secondly we’ll donate to your green charity further helping to protect the environment.

| 13 | How do I save money? Green Mobile offers its customers some truly amazing rates. Monthly line rental is only £15 for 50 minutes and 75 texts. Our call rates are 10p for UK landlines and 22p for cross-network calls. This is cheaper than the other networks. You also only pay 5p per minute calls and 5p texts when calling other Green Mobile users.

| 14 | How am I supporting Charities? When you join Green Mobile we’ll make a £15 donation to the green charity of choice in your name – then each month 6% of your phone bill goes to the charity you have chosen to support.
